What The Hell Are We Doing?

So.... Where to start?

This is the beginning of a lifelong journey of two best friends (boneheads, if you will) that have tasted AND tested the waters. I think the waters that I 'tasted' in the Philippines is what got me sick.... But i digress :D

To describe mine (Victor) and Brandon's personalities, is non-dichotomous, but more of almost polar opposites. But, I think it's what creates balance and allows us to see both sides of the spectrum when it comes to life.

We started out pretty much hating each other in 3rd grade, where we met at a Christian school in the then small town Corona,CA. Got in a little tussle over soccer. Then, when we saw each other at our 4th grade open house at school, we greeted each other as if we were long lost friends. (Turns out we were going to grow as life long friends, 25 years and counting)

Went to high school together up through Freshman year, then I moved to Rubidoux, where we went about 2 years with no communication.

**I'll keep it short and sweet**

We reconnected after a couple years and broken hearts (from girlfriends at the time), then worked together at a warehousing facility building our 401K's (to only cash it out, which I will explain shortly).

We then had an epiphany, left Corona, and made our way to Hollywood, where we lived for a couple of years, and where we attended Musicians Institute.

Did we hit it big? Not really....

Things didn't pan out the way we wanted. We had more debt then ever now, and came back to Corona to re-plan and rebuild.

An opportunity for me to become a CrossFit coach had fallen on my lap, which was one of the best opportunities and learning opportunities i've ever had, and Brandon had found his footing at a Dental Implant company.

We both learned a lot about business, and ourselves during this time, but still yearned for something more meaningful...

And then came, Munkey Chukkles.

A by product of our longing to be creative, express our expertise in connecting with people, and living the dream of never having to wear a suit to work. EVER.

Board shorts, tank top and sandals working from my phone sounds more like it!

So really, this is the journey and shenanigans of two brothers creating the life of their dreams, beating the odds that seems at times against us, and proving that two regular schmoes can do whatever it is they put their minds to....

As long as you double down on the things you KNOW you're good at!
